Bartenders, Think You’ve Got What It Takes to Be the Best Behind the Bar?
Think you’ve got what it takes? Step behind the bar and show off your skills. We’re calling on bartenders from across the region to compete in a one-night-only showdown. Represent your bar, craft an original cocktail, and put your creativity and technique on display.
Competition Details:
- Bartenders will build a cocktail recipe based on a list of ingredients (available in the sign up form) and Journeyman spirits
- Journeyman will source the ingredients for each cocktail recipe and schedule time for prepping and batching onsite in Three Oaks.
- Bartenders will come onsite to prep and batch their cocktails within 2 weeks of the event. Ingredients, spirits, and storage containers will be provided by Journeyman. Bartenders are required to bring jiggers, shakers, and all tools needed to prep and batch.
- On competition day, bartenders will arrive before the competition to finish their prep and be ready to present their creation at a booth designated to them.
- During the competition, guests will migrate between booths, interacting with each bartender and taste their creations. Once they have tasted through the room, guests will have an opportunity to vote for the best cocktail, and the winner will be announced right before the end of the event.
Prize Details:
1st Place: $1,000 Cash + $500 to a Charity of Your Choice + Trophy
2nd & 3rd Place: Cash Prizes
This isn’t just about cocktails—it’s a celebration of community, talent, and the bartenders who keep the drinks (and the energy) flowing.
Timeline:
5/14/2025 – Bartender Sign Up Deadline.
5/23/2025 – Cocktail Submission Deadline.
6/1-5/2025 – Scheduled Bar Prep at Journeyman Distillery.
