Every month brings a fresh cause, a featured cocktail, and another reason to raise your glass. Order our featured drink, and we’ll donate a portion of the proceeds directly to the highlighted organization.
We’re proud to call Northwest Indiana our second home—and even prouder to champion the people who make it stronger. From youth programs and education to animal rescue and community outreach, this initiative is our way of giving back to the changemakers right here in our backyard.

Hilltop Neighborhood House has offered valuable resources for children and families throughout the Valparaiso community since 1995. The focus of Hilltop is to empower families to learn, grow and belong. We serve as a community center providing early childhood education, a food pantry, after school care and a learning garden.

Empowered Women, Stronger Communities: The Work of Tri Kappa Iota
In the heart of our community, a group of dedicated women are making a lasting difference through service, generosity, and heart. Tri Kappa Iota, a philanthropic sorority rooted in Charity, Culture and Education, continues to live out its mission of strengthening local communities through hands-on volunteerism and meaningful financial support.
Each year, the women of Tri Kappa Iota work tirelessly to raise funds that directly benefit local students and community programs. Signature fundraisers such as the Annual Gala, Bingo Night, and Taste of Valparaiso are not only exciting community events—they are vital to supporting scholarships for area students and grants for local nonprofits.
Their commitment doesn’t stop at writing checks. Members of Tri Kappa Iota roll up their sleeves to serve in person — reading to preschoolers, conducting free preschool vision screenings, and helping deliver meals to seniors through Meals on Wheels. From serving breakfast to veterans, to cooking at Hilltop House, to partnering with the local parks department, these women show up with compassion and dedication.
Every effort is a reflection of their belief that strong communities start with caring neighbors. Tri Kappa Iota is a shining example of what can happen when women come together with a shared purpose — building a legacy of service, education, and kindness.

AUGUST: LAKESHORE PAWS
Raising a glass for Lakeshore PAWS—a volunteer-driven, nonprofit rescue in Valparaiso, Indiana, dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned and unwanted dogs throughout Northwest Indiana. Since its founding in 2011, Lakeshore PAWS has helped over 8,200 dogs find their forever families, guided by values of compassion, community, advocacy, and results. With a 98.8% save rate in 2024, they provide medical care, behavioral support, and a second chance to dogs in need.
