Journeyman Distillery Unveils Inaugural Beers

Journeyman Distillery recently released its first line of beers, Sea of Monsters, from its brewery in Valparaiso.
The inaugural beers feature ingredients grown in the Region. The team’s Whitechapel Kölsch uses Michigan pilsner malt. Their Between the Rows beer features Michigan-grown and malted bloody butcher corn. Bloody butcher corn is an heirloom variety of corn dating back to the 1800s.
Journeyman Distillery was founded in 2010 by Bill and Johanna Welter. The family-owned grain-to-glass distillery is located in Three Oaks, Michigan. Journeyman Distillery recently opened The American Factory, a distillery and brewery in Valparaiso, Bill Welter’s hometown.
