Oak Partners brings the party to Journeyman Distillery for Sunset Social 2025

The Sunset Social event numbers as one of Oak Partners’ many socialization events. These events include March Madness watch parties, ice skating events, golf outings, and the annual “Oaktoberfest” celebration in the fall. Clint Henry, wealth advisor and partner at Oak Partners, deems the Sunset Social an excellent way to bond with Oak Partners’ clients.

“This event allows our clients the opportunity to socialize and have a good time with us,” Henry said. “It supports our client experience and sets Oak Partners apart from every other financial firm. Our clients enjoy these events we put on, so we’re going to keep having them. I enjoy this event because I get to walk through the room and catch up with clients whom I haven’t seen in a while. Many of them bring their friends and family along, so it turns into a fun night out for everybody. That’s what Oak Partners is all about.”

The clients and partners enjoyed an array of hors d’oeuvres and mixed drinks as they chatted and laughed with one another. Local guitarist and vocalist Angelo Cicco kept the attendees entertained with his acoustic covers of “Island in the Sun” by Weezer, “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse, and “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick Springfield.

Marc Ruiz, team leader and partner at Oak Partners, especially enjoys the congenial atmosphere of the Sunset Social.

“My favorite part of the Sunset Social is the togetherness,” Ruiz said. “There’s no talking about investments or finances, we’re all just here to spend time with each other. I hope everyone leaves having had a beautiful evening hanging out with their friends and enjoying the cocktails and music. We at Oak Partners truly are one big family.”

Jason Urbaniak, wealth advisor and partner at Oak Partners, views this year’s Sunset Social as not only a great way to strengthen the bonds between advisors and clients but also to promote Journeyman’s beautiful event space. He is very pleased with the evening’s turnout.
