Each of the Farm Series is crafted with certified organic grains sourced from nearby farms, offering a nuanced reflection of the region’s terroir and the distillery’s unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability.

The Farm Series is deeply personal for the team at Journeyman. In 2012, they began converting a family-owned farm in Putnam County, Indiana into a certified organic and kosher operation. After allowing the land to rest fallow for three years—a practice rooted in both tradition and ecological care—the farm began producing certified organic rye in 2015. By 2016, that rye had been malted, distilled, and matured into what is now known as Farm Rye, a flagship expression that captures the essence of the land and the spirit of small-batch, estate-grown whiskey.
