Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, promotes three stays fitting the brand’s style and pastoral location, for example, while BrewDog USA in Columbus, Ohio, sends guests to the DogHouse, with the option of each room having a favorite draft beer on tap. Here are 10 great distilleries and breweries across the Midwest where you can stay the night.

Located in Three Oaks, Michigan, Journeyman is just over an hour’s drive from Chicago. The distillery, dubbed Journeyman’s Featherbone Factory, makes the brand’s beloved Corsets, Whips and Whiskey—a wheat-based spirit named after the distillery’s building former use as a factory for corsets and buggies. In addition to world-class craft spirits, Journeyman’s campus offers comfortable on-site lodging: The Journeyman Flat, Farmhouse, and Bunkhouse. The Farmhouse was built in the 1800s and sits about 400 yards from the distillery; The Flat, meanwhile, sleeps 18 and feels like an urban loft complete with exposed brick and pool table. According to co-founder and CEO Bill Welter, “We wanted to keep the story of the place intact, and scraping off the flaking paint would be losing the layers of history.” The two-bedroom Bunkhouse sleeps four and is designed for couples or small families.
Pro Tip: Enjoy a round of golf at Welter’s Folly, the 18-hole public putting green located right behind the distillery and inspired by the famous Himalayas Putting Green in St. Andrews, Scotland, where Journeyman founder Welter once resided.
